今日は父の日らしいので、"Father"のつく曲集めてみました。主にPunk系統のものを中心に選曲しました。
Punkという音楽で自己を表現するという手段を取ると決めた人にとって、父親の存在はやはり無視できない存在のようで、結構な数の曲があるみたいです。それが感謝すべき存在であるのか、はたまた越えるべき存在なのか、あるいは打倒すべき敵なのか、関わって欲しくない煩わしい存在なのか…男親と子供の関係は何処の国もままならないものが多いようです。
一方Christian系のバンドにとってもまた、"Father"という言葉は色々欠かせないワードのようですね。実際の父親を指すこともあるのでしょうが、神（たまに神父）を指す事が多いようです。
そんな色々な"Father"ソングを集めたので、宜しければチェックしてみて下さい。

余談ですが、父の日という事で、僕の父に日頃の感謝の気持ちという事でビールをプレゼントしました。もう若くはないので健康を考えれば飲み過ぎて欲しくはないですが、週に何回か数缶ずつ飲んでもらうという事で。もう還暦なんだなあ…
